I agree. For $1650 I can spend that money on something else that will make me go faster than ssaving 10 pounds.

$ 1600.00 for a Bat. they bumped their heads or hit the wall to many times.
Can you emagine how much weight or extra metel the guy in front of Home Depot will cut out for $1600. 100- 200 lbs?

I thought $200 was bad enough for a Optima yellow top. I'll use the money for something else.

I have heard a rumor of a new battery coming out next spring that will be lite and supply plenty of power for half the money of the new lite weight lithium battery. This is "Hear Say". When I find out something for sure I will post it for you guys...

Here's a sneak peak of another new super light weight, unlimited amp power supply coming out soon. Only weighs 5 oz and puts out 10,000,000 cold cranking amps with 50 years of reserve capaciity. If you have to ask how much it's too much lol

We tried this battery this spring..
The 16 volt models have BOTH a 12 and 16 volt terminal,
and we have one LITE weight model...

I spent 560.00 on the battery and special charger for that battery..
we had Bad luck with it.. left us with a battery that wouldnt crank the car up on seveal occasions... In our case it saved 30 lbs.. but that did no good when we couldnt make the call to run..
after returning the 1st battery, Jeg's talked me into tring a 2nd battery... Had no luck with that one either.. ended up with a 550.00 gift cert. when i retunred all that Junk, and put our old faithful wet cell 12 volt battery back in.

Those look pretty cool, very expensive though. Are you going to buy a spare?

No I won't be buying a spare, but I will have my spare power master 16v battery in the trailor with cables for those just in case times. For you guys that have never ran a 16v battery you really need to try one! Once you do, you will never go back to a 12v system & I'm definetly not a battery salesman....
