Looking for a recommendation on a Msd btm I see there is Msd 8977 5462 8962
Looking to hook up to my 6al
Which is the best what is the difference
Usually run 30 degrees total was thinking of pulling 1 degree or less of timing out with a max boost of about 12-14 psi
Street car Old motor 10.80 @122 1.49 60' 355 6-71 stock gm heads stock rocker arms block hugger headers 1-5/8"x2.5" collector

BTM's do work. BUT remember they have a diaphragm and a backfire can rupture it.
Then you will have no timing retard.

Thanks
That's what I was worried about
Thinking the unit is taking out timing when its not
Its too bad there is no easy way to have a gauge in the car to see actual timing
Thanks again for the info
