RPM DROP

Converter stalls at 6300 shifting at 7200.and drops back to 6300. There is no gain in RPM for a full second then it starts to clime. Any ideas/ Still went 8.28@164. How much am I loosing?

what is the bore and stroke? is the motor n/a or nitrous. what are the transmission ratios? stock suspension, ladder bar or 4-link? what size tire? bracket, index or heads up?
