P/G with Turbo input shaft

#1 Post by Bruce69Camaro » Tue Jan 05, 2010 11:22 am

Is there any advantage to installing a turbo input shaft in my P/G other then if at one time I want to switch to a T-350, I can use the same converter?

Thanks

Bruce

Yes there are many advantages:
it is stronger
resale value - almost everyone runs turbo spline- p/g spline has less resale value
if your at a race and have a failure it is easier to find a turbo spline converter than p/g (17 spline)
in other words , if you are purchasing a brand new converter , go with the turbo spline and spend $100 for the input shaft
