10 element 'diode'

#1 Post by ojh » Thu May 20, 2010 10:37 am

We just upgraded the sprag in the N.C. bolt together from a 5 element (that was screwed up) to the 10 element. first time out we had it too tight, moved 1 shim from front to rear and ran 4.41 and kept tuning at the end of the night we saw 4.30 flat. We are going to loosten it up and move another shim or launch with both stages and see if it can handle it.

after looking at your race pak - throw both stages at it and it will take it. You'll lay down some killer numbers that will scare people! Let us know how you do.

Didn't mean to leave you guys hanging but we've had bad weather and tracks. Anyway we had a race friday and another race sunday. The air was terrific on friday and on the first qualifying pass the tires started smoking about half track and the car sashayed a little as john lifted and it took a hard left hit the jersey wall and exploded into a ball of flame as it was rolling. John is ok. The car is a total loss.
I wanted to come back on here and report that we got into the .20's but that isn't going to happen. Thanks for your interest and help, its a sad day here. oj
