Marty, So It may be important to figure out what fluid to use before a converter is made for your combination for the correct stall speed....

By the way Im going to hit the dyno on Friday the 8th so if I call you Monday morning with this info can I have a converter by Friday
Oh and Im in N.J.07419 :thumb:

I design the converter around the power curve of the motor using 10W as the base and then we change fluid viscosity for fine tuning. Call me and we can bust out a converter super fast for you. Marty Chance

Hi Marty, have you noticed any effect on converter slippage at the finish line after switching to a thicker fluid?

thicker fluid changes the trans brake stall and flash stall more than the stall down track, in other words thicker fluid is a good move when the converter is pretty close to what you want going down track and the drop on the shift but you need to drop some flash stall with out taking out power
