N/A CONVERTER TO NITROUS

#1 Post by Hitchcock » Tue Sep 06, 2016 12:56 pm

I have a nitrous kit I want to play around with 100-150 horsepower jets. My combo is 750 ish horsepower with a TCI converter that Marty Chance retuned for my combo. It stalls at 5600 rpm N/A right now. I'm wondering if a small shot of nitrous will be overkill for that converter. I will get a dedicated converter later on, but it's not in my budget at the moment.
73 Vette, moly back half
Pump gas 496
Two Pro Systems 950's
Chance 6000 converter

I would try it. If its a powerglide it may even help it.
