Looking at all the paint work makes me want to paint my 66 Fastback before Pinks in Topeka in July.

Here's some updated pics of the 66 Mustang that we sent home yesterday for the owner to finish the motor, trans, wiring, interior, and trim work.

Typical Mustang with a lot of rust, what kind of money do you get for a full body resto and paint like that. Very nice work btw.

That car came into the shop on a rotisserie and sprayed in epoxy timer. We usually charge around 7000 to do metal work, rust repair, body work, paint, and assemble the car like the one above. We thought about charging hourly, but we just can't see charging a customer 10 or 12000 dollars for a paint job.

$7000 is a great price for that much work we usually get the 10-15k for paint on cars and thats without rust repair. Its a hard call to try and charge by the hour when some cars take 300-500 hours just for bodywork and paint.
