John,

One thing I found interesting, the owner of the company must be either a Nova or Chevelle fan because he makes a 6" cowl hood for both of those cars but when I contacted him about doing a 6" cowl for my Camaro, he said no, we don't offer one....

Find it funny he sells just a 6" cowl scoop, and sells a factory cowl hood for a 67-69 Camaro, but can't combine the 6" cowl scoop on a Camaro hood.....Maybe there's more too it then I thought???

Believe it or not that is a small salmon! in the fall they run around 30-50lbs.
if you look in my set fishing stuff you will see me with a 40 lber. :D
i cant take credit for the scoop it's harwood and the install was done by another guy because i chickened out on doing it myself.

The president of our company goes up to Alaska to fish and you should see the size of those king salmons.
Talk about big....

2nd time is a charm... I'd say it's pretty good quality considering the price

One drawback I noticed is that the lower edge of the part doesn't have a lip on it. That's not a problem for mine as there's going to be a wing covering that area, but for a street car or something, lack of a lip there might not be what you would want.

Looks good, no tire marks on this one, huh?

So if you didn't pay for the optional black gel coat, what do you get?

That is the optional black gel coat - I requested it when I had him make me another.

But if you don't request it, what is the finish, did he say?

Good looking piece.
im still sanding and primering on mine.
im almost ready to paint it.
the white primer was a huge help seeing the little flaws.
