In the begining, God created the Camaro....
So you ask and you shall recieve.
Here is a link to some pictures of the Camaro when it was blue and in it's current new color.
https://picasaweb.google.com/1121376105 ... o8bs39SzSw#
Here are a few details:
Motor- 408bbc (396 x .060"), GM steel crank, balanced and polished, TRW forged dome pistons, 11.5:1 comp, dimple rods with ARP bolts, balanced and polished, GM 3964290 heads, closed chamber, oval ports with 2.065" int/ 1.72" exh (future plans to increase intakes to 2.188"), 105cc, 1.7 roller rockers, Edelbrock Victor Jr with Pro Systems 850dp, solid roller cam, .685"/.683", @ .050 258/271, Comp Cams roller lifters, MSD ignition, aluminum racing radiator with custom shroud and 16" SPAL fan, Moroso water pump drive kit.
Transmission: GM powerglide with manual valvebody kit, 8" PTC converter, 5000 stall, B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, B&M tranny cooler.
Chassis: S&W 24" welded rear frame assembly, S&W 14 point sportsman cage, S&W aluminum 40" wheel tubs.
Rearend: S&W 9" Ford, 34" flange to flange, large style bearing, Strange center section with 35" spline spool, 4.57 gears, Strange drum brakes, Moser 35 spline axles.
Suspension: Rear- S&W, 32" double adjustable ladder bars, track bar, coil over kit with 130 lbs springs.
Front- Moog coil springs with 2 coils cut off, Calvert 90/10 drag shocks, Comp Engineering upper A-arm bushings, new ball joints and lower A-arm bushings.
Body: All new GM panels except for a fiberglass 5" cowl hood, deck lid, front and rear bumpers, Hugger orange, with black "Z" stripes painted with urethane, single stage, factory front and rear spoilers, factory glass, Jaz high back racing seats, factory door panels and carpet, Autometer gauges, custom switch panel.
As it is now, due to our beautiful hot weather, painting has stopped because of the shop conditions, so the next items up for paint are the doors, which need to be re-done and then we will move onto the front end sheet-metal and the new hood.
My goal is to get the car running in the 10's and once it gets to 10.0/ 9.99 that's it, no more, no faster. I've been told over and over that I'll want to go faster, this is not true and I have my reasons.
So stay tuned and I'll post updates as soon as they happen.
Oh yeah and I can't end without saying, Chris, eat your heart out buddy.....Camaro's Rule

Re: In the begining, God created the Camaro....
Well tonight waiting for me when I got home was a box from PTC converters and a SPAL fan. Just found out the paint will be here tomorrow. The door jamb gaskets are all in place as well and new vertical weatherstrip for the quarter windows.
Tomorrow instead of testing boilers, I'm going to take my shroud and fan into work, I'm going to cut out the 16" hole and mount the fan to the shroud and seal up the corners.

Re: In the begining, God created the Camaro....
Update: got the fan/ shroud combo on and after hooking things up and turning on the switch, all I can say is, if that thing doesn't cool down my car, something is wrong. My hair looked like Don King's hair after I turned off the switch.....
I'll get pictures soon, been getting ready for the new driveway so after that's done, then I'll take some.

I started working on fitting up the hood, I'm very happy with this new hood and so far things are going ok.
I added a few pictures of the hood.

Re: In the begining, God created the Camaro....
Nothing really new to report, except that I got the extended wheel studs up front and I've been working on mounting the new hood.
I'm still very impressed with the quality of this hood made by Alen @ Fiberboy Fiberglass. I got everything notched and I'm getting ready to prep the hood for the fasteners.

My question is why would you want to put a photo in your avatar of the car after it's had its doors blown off?
