custom bbc head porting

#1 Post by altereddoug » Fri Dec 16, 2005 5:12 pm

Can someone tell me a few good places that port cylinder heads? I have a set of Dart 335's that I want ported to 355's, a little bowl and throat work. Around Illinois. I have talked to rfd and cfm and they tell me around 800.00

I can personally recommend CFM, I had Mike port my 24 Degree Pro-Filers last winter and it made a big improvement. The car (motor only) went from 10.40's to 9.90's same size motor. I did change the cam at the same time which also helped. Flow wize he helped them a lot, and I can sure tell it on the car as well. It now loves RPM, it's still pulling hard now at 8500rpm where before it would start to slow down around 7000rpm.

Mike will take good care of you...

John
