cant stop the excess!

#1 Post by Hitchcock » Mon Dec 15, 2008 8:58 pm

Well, all rookies do what they want instead of whats recommended. I just bought a dominator top tunnel ram for my 496. I just couldnt help it! :bling:

The intake is really not too much bling. It's the carbs that are bad. I saw an intake with a finish like yours on a motor.
It was real slick looking. :thumb:

the old 454 we just took out was a best 10.8 @ 115 with a 1.44 60 ft. ( Not all on the same run)

Cant wait to run the new 468 in it now.
Hoping for as close to 10.0's as possible.

thanks

1970 LS6 BBC 468 13.5-1 forged pistons, Roller cam,Roller valve train,Worked GM Steel heads,Victor tunnel ram with 2 750s,Linkage,MSD distributor,Plus wires,BG 4 Port Reg, with 4 steel braided lines going to carbs,Super Damper,SFI fly Wheel,

Nothing special, a local racers spare motor that I purchased for $3200. He had it going 10.0's and a few 9's in a chevelle. So I was told.....
I'll give it a try......
