I started 1 1/2 turns out on my holley hp 750 then i adjusted them with a vacumn guage.I think all said and done i was about 1 1/4 out after fine tuning them but this all depends on your setup. :thumb:

well their you go. Mine came 1 1/2 front and 1/2 rear idled fine but hit the gas, let off the gas and it would die.

Man I have had some problems with the computer. Sorry it took so long. Got it going with the vac gauge and got the most with a little over 1/2 on all 4. 14.5 and 10.5 in gear and the gauge was pretty steady. I could only get about 9 with the old carb. My only problem now is It goes lean and pops a little on wont and I have 47 pump back and front with pink cams front back. I think 47 is high and I am not sure if I need 50cc or it is something else. I think it could be the temp. It is 50 or below and the car runs about 150. Its about 100 in the summer and runs 180.

1/2 turn out is pretty lean, sounds like you need some more fine tuning. Do you mean you have a .047 squriter front and back ? Anything over .040 need the screw with hole in it. How far is you idle speed screw turned in? You might be past the transfer slot There are some guys on here that know a lot more than me about carbs hopefully they can help you.
