Is an electric water pump worth it?

Is swapping to an electric pump worth it?
NA sbc 383 10.5-1, Dart Pro1 Platninum 215 heads,Comp Cam XFI292 roller cam,Crane 1.6 roller rocker,Edel RPM AirGap Nascar Ed. intake, Mighty Demon 825. 12.06@111.58 so far

If its just a race car YES if its a street car NO. I would rather lose a little power than overheat my engine. They make "street " pumps but they are expensiveIf you have a belt driven fan you might want to look into a good electric fan and free up a little hp.

I love my electric pump....don't know what I did without it =). But my car is pretty much track only.
