Anyone with interest in Turbos or ProChargers

#1 Post by CDR Performance » Thu Mar 04, 2010 9:03 am

Hello, we wanted to start a thread and see if anyone had questions about Turbo or ProChargers
Or if anyone is converting from N/A, N2O to Turbo or PC.

We would like to hear about your setup or we can help with your set-up.

You buying?
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.

We buy and sell all the time.

Many of our racers got tired to bringing or refilling 15-20 bottles , or more, per race.
A turbo can even create a cost saving....

No I wont go back.
Its a new deal for me. I had a 632 Ford and 2 foggers . The new car is a 385 smallblock Ford with a single turbo. The cars are in different classes so I am not comparing apples to apples.
I am surprised how much ice I use. With the NOS you bring home what you dont use. With ice you bring home a cooler full of water. lol

It is a new car but Im going out on a limb by saying Im going after the MPH track record this weekend.

Right-on! We had helped a tom of guy do the switch. Everyone loved the change and all went as fast or faster. Even if they went to a smaller motor.

As for Ice. You need the keep a chest style cooler in the trailer to keep the ice in. Just wheel it out and plug it in the shop till next week............ Buy at the local ice supplier for greater saving as well. Bring the trailer and ice chest. 8-)

How about dual needle and seat, dual float bowls to support over 2000 hp on a single carb.
