Great looking engine! Looks ready to make big power.

Someone mentioned NAPA filters. They are made by Wix. I use NAPA filters in about everything. Occasionally a Purlator if I can't get to NAPA before they close.

Some filters don't have bypasses according to the manufacturers. You've got to dig around and search for them.

I always run a filter adapter that doesn't have a bypass valve in it so the filter does have an effect on the oil pressure I see. I also run Moroso filters the thing I did notice is that peak hot oil pressure is usually about 10 psi higher with the Moroso filter as compared to other brands of racing filters. To me that means more oil is flowing through the filter since the oil pressure is picked up after the filter. Maybe the 27 micron thing is why. My 505 that destroyed the front main bearing filled the filter up with debri but all of the bearings looked perfect, well except one. They're expensive I wonder who really makes them?

I'm running K&N, HP-3002 and have had no problems with it, but then I'm not running the same extreme systems most of you guys are.
