Any opinions on the 1" or 2" HVH Supersucker, the website says adds up to 47 HP. This site is Great, answers are always taken into consideration, thank you all for your help.
I can't wait for race season, this has got to be the year.

Depends on a lot of things.Only one way to find out but I wouldnt count on seeing a 47hp gain. What intake do you have and how much hood clearance?

I have a Victor intake with a proform 850 main body. Standard bore, with LS6 TRW forged pistons, GM 990 heads, and a comp LS6+ cam. I love the tq of the big block.

ur in luck, I just took my motor to the dyno last week and i borrowed one of the 1" hvh spacers and it did Not make more peak HP. It did help the average HP by 5hp or so and gave me about 8 foot pounds of torque... Every motor is different, but i sure didnt see 47hp on my combo. So in my case, i was glad i didnt spend the money on one..

hope this helps,
