My stock pointer was reading 3° more advanced than it actually was. Can't wait till the morning so I can head to the track:) This would explain why it really liked 42° a few seasons ago. I backed it down to "38°" when I switched to E85 (which is a mistake - carb guy said to run it where it ran best on gas). Which is ony 35°...and my 8:1 engine needs more help than that. Bring on the timing
This wasn't hard to make at all. Got an old spark plug, tapped it with 3/8" coarse - worked great.

I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.
