Proform Water Pump?

#1 Post by Tyler69z28 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 2:11 pm

Are the Proform water pumps any good? They look just like the Meziere pumps.

Thanks

I have one that is made by them but not sold under the Proform name and the guy I got it from, really supports this item.

I have read on other sites that a lot of people like them.

My co-worker has one on his SBF and has had zero problems.
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't.........

We have 3 blue ones...2 on SBC race motors [357ci & 406ci] for 5 seasons now, and one with 6 years street work. No problems so far! :thumb:

What do you guys think? To me the Proform and Meziere look to be made by the same people.

I usually going by the saying you get what you pay for, but I may change my mind on this one.

Meziere $400.00
Proform $140.00 Sale

Customer bought one, I installed, water leaked through motor housing when filling it up. The replacement did the same thing. The third one would not bolt to the block due to the bolt holes being off centered. They may be fine now, but I will never know...

Meziere pumps are made in the USA by Meziere Enterprise in southern california.

Proform Pumps are made in China.
