I've swapped from a victor jr to a super victor 4 times and seen a 10th improvement in the 1/8 mile each time, even more with some intake port work done. Walt

It MIGHT be ok, but seems wrong for the application.
Is hood clearence the problem?
What kind of car?

hood clearance isnt an issue.

i already have the intake and its ported to match the heads and a 1206 felpro
its on my engine now(355) and was just curious if it will work on a bigger ci motor
thanks

If hood clearance is not a problem, I would get a intake that will fit the application. Maybe a Holley 300-25 or Edebrock super victor. I think your app will like a manifold upgrade.

You didn't say what type of rpm you are wanting to run, or even how much it weighs, intake port volume, etc. but I would have to agree, the jr is probably a little small for that application, you might be able to crutch it a little with a 1" or 2" open spacer to help with plenum volume, but ultimately, the runners are too small. You are leaving some mid and upper rpm power on the table by not going to a bigger intake.
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.
