3 vane moroso pump is whistling when i let up off the gas under hard acceleration ,, vacuum gauge is at 12 hg which is plumbed into the valve cover, this pump is 2 summers old .ty

Seems that would be hard to confirm where the whistle is coming from? And when you say it's doing it under deceleration that makes it sound a lot more like intake leak..
