Valve springs pressure?

#1 Post by 68Z » Fri Dec 07, 2012 8:51 am

Just checked the seat pressures last night with LMS on head tester.
Now I have 2 questions!
1- how close is the reading compared to the bench tester?
2- what kind of margin is OK. The installed pressure is 350 on the seat out of the box. I have some that are down to 320 after 6 dyno pulls!
The springs are a PAC 1358 installed @ 2.100
Thanks!
Trev

I think that is on the low side!

What does the manufacturer say about tolerances? It does not sound like a lot, but after only 6 pulls. How much lift is the cam?
