plumbing a fuel system

I recall somewhere on here, a thread about pluming a single pump for both the carb and the NOS. I am not having much luck with the search though.

I am building a mild sbc pump gas engine for my newest LUV. Street driven, and very rarely (if ever) will I use the NOS. I can't leave home without it though, lol...

Since I will rarely use it, I don't want to run a second dedicated pump...

I have nothing yet, but a pump, a 275 MagnaFuel. So what is needed, a fuel maifild, 2 port, 4 port, bypass? Thanks.

The simplest setup would be a large line from the pump to the engine bay, then split to two Holley dead-head regulators. You can use a Y fitting or a fuel log/manifold to split the flow. You could build the log out of brass fittings from your local NAPA for pretty reasonable. Plenty of people using non-return systems with success.

Thanks for the info. I have no problem with doing as return as it currently has no plumbing. Just trying to figure out the best approach...
