Tru Arcs and Lifters

#1 Post by Ls7camaro » Thu Apr 30, 2015 12:48 pm

Guys I have a question. I am to the point I am putting everything back together and need to go to the machine shop to balance the bottom end.

Question 1. I have 2307AF pistons, what are the correct spirolocks/tru arcs for those?

Question 1. Has anyone used the Crower "Cool Face" lifter, it has the small hole in the bottom to aid in lubrication. The cam is a 39591870.

Combo is a set of ported Merlin heads that are about 104CC chambers. Edlebrock Victor, Proform 850 and that is it, nothing exotic. The goal is to push my 79 camaro into the 10's. I am thinking the compression is going to be close to 13.2/13.4.

Can anyone recommend a machine shop that is reliable in the South of Cleveland Area?

Thank You All.
I can't wait for race season, this has got to be the year.

I would contact speed pro for the tru arcs. I believe they use 2 per side in those pistons.
