applied nitrous reg question.

#1 Post by roadrunner451 » Tue Dec 18, 2007 7:52 pm

i got my regulator from jeff from applied nitrous now i'd like to know if i can route the bleed off line from my regulator and tee it off into my-10 return line from carb [ the reg for nitrous fuel] or should i get a fuel block and go to that with the -3 line then to tank with a - 6 or -8 line ,,,,just wondering how you run that -3 line from the bleed off on reg:?:

I made mine return at the solenoids with # 3 into a block I made with a #8 back to the fuel cell. If you look under the fuel rail you can kind of see it.

Kenny is the #8 your running back to the cell your main bypass from the pump side? It doesn't want to backfeed into the bleeds?

On mine I run a separate small line back to the tank for the bleeds, I was concerned about tying it into the main bypass line.

The pump has its own return to the cell. That return is for the nitrous solenoids only. I already had the #8 line from when the nitrous had its own fuel pump so I just used that line over again.

That makes more sense. I really don't know what kind of pressure is in the main bypass line, I doubt it's a a lot but there should be some there.
