Hiding nos plate system
Hey guys!! I just "aquired" a nitrous plate system. first of all I don't run in any class or money thing, this will just be used for fun and some "grudge" racing. My buddies and I all have this friendly rivelship where we keep things sneeky and keep the other guys thinking. So don't get all bound up about CHEATING!!! I need some ideas on how to hide it. How far from the plate can the solinoids be? I was thinking about putting them in the cowel under the wipers. How about the bottle?? I know it should be mounted foward in the car, but can it be mounted side ways?? Like maybe under the seat??? Any suggestions would be great thanks!!!!!

They say the longer the lines softer the hit+fuel line being
to far may loose presure to noid cousing lean condition.
up presure posibly??1st off paint the plate to look like
an aluminum spacer.I ran the noids in the air cleaner
(factory inclosed w/heat riser)with a hole cut in back
for the lines.run some vacume hose over the nos lines
up into base of air cleaner, looks like factory vac lines
are hooked up!!!! if you know what to look for you can
tell something is up but its fun.Jam the wing nut on tight
if they ask for a peek, make sure your not close to tools
and try to open w/ fingers

Try something like this. It may or may not work with your setup. Maybe just the bottle, easy to hide but only good for one shot.

I was looking at this:

Hiding them under a carb heat shield behind carb.
Those under manifold systems are really expensive.

It would take time, and more money, but you could get the thin bottles and place them under the rear seat, then run the line in or next to the driveshaft loop, go into the trans bell housing and into the rear of the engine to the under the intake system. As far as the intake, you could allways plumb it yourself.
I think the fact of hiding the system over on everyone would be worth it.

Gotta plan, spend it before she can, and go as fast as you can.
