So, we'll be strapping the bottle on my car this week. I bought this kit from cold fusion
It's the single stage kit that's adjustable from 200-400. Basically what i'm wondering is how much timing should i pull to start out with, fuel pressure, etc... The car usually runs on 93 octane, but i'll be running straight 110 through it for the bottle. It's a 383 with ported dart pro 1's 11:1 compression. if anyone has any questions so i can get a better answer, post em up.

Robert what jet's do you have to work with? Do you have a seperate fuel pressure regulator and if so which one?

the jets that the kit came with are .073, .082, .092, .102, .120/116. the paperwork says its adjustable from 175-350+. im running a Y block with an 8an feed to two of the cheapo hollet regulators. the paperwork says to start at 6psi as a baseline.John_Heard wrote:Robert what jet's do you have to work with? Re: Basic Nitrous Tuning
If it were me I'd start with the 82 nitrous, 73 fuel at 6.5psi and 7 degrees retard. That's a 5.9N/F ratio, if you want to be a little more conservative try 8 degrees retard and see what the plugs look like.

Re: Basic Nitrous Tuning
33's are about the same as a -9 NGK, should be ok, might be a little cold but with that shot you're somewhere between an 8 or a 9 anyway. Take some extra plugs with you if you can in case you want to put a fresh one in to take a look at it when making adjustments.
Chris and I are coming to watch, I don't believe I'm going to take the car this time.
