Monitoring of Nitrous

#1 Post by Pierre-Philippe Frenette » Tue Jan 10, 2006 4:01 pm

Our company is a factory that produce fiber optic sensors to measure pressure, temperature and gas concentration. Fiber optic sensors are made of glass structure. There is not electricity, can not short-circuit neither are inflammable. By installing those three sensors in the injection line, it is possible to have a very good control on nitrous injection in the engine.

As the sensor price are expensive, this solution may be reserved to professional drag racer but in any cases if you have some questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself.

Ok you have my interest... Tell us all about these sensors you're talking about. Can you measure the density of nitrous (percentage of liquid / gaseous)? Tells us how they work and how much $ we're talking...
