Thanks for posting the link to that article John.

The quick and dirty answer is you want the bottle to be neither too hot nor too cold so that the pressure is in a controlled range. Controlling the pressure is critical because it directly effects how much nitrous flows into the engine and therefore has a huge effect on the air/fuel ratio.

The heating and cooling of the Nitrousaurus-X is what makes it so handy. Most products just heat. Only the NX Fire and Ice will also cool (that I'm aware of), but it'll suck a battery dead pretty quickly. The Nitrousaurus-X is very easy on your battery.

No 15lb. unit yet. Just like all sides of racing, their business slowed down significantly last year and the development of new product was put on hold.

But 10 lb. units are ready to ship.

Thanks Joe.

For those that might have missed it, I'm giving Dragstuff members special pricing of $325. $349 is retail.

I personally prefer to buy my parts from guys like Craig, once you add the customer service, knowledge and experience, you don have to return parts because they send you the wrong parts etc. At times I have pay more for some parts just because of the added value. In this case I got a bonus because I got a great deal. I will support a guy like Craig over the big stores any day, the overall experience makes it worth it. We buy from people not companies. :thumb:

Can someone post a picture of one of these heater/coolers? Or a link. I could not find anything on line.
Thanks
Roger

I've taken over the day to day operation of Carnivore for the owners. So the units are still available and the product is supported, even though the website is down for the time being.

I have various colors in stock and ready for assembly. The retail price is now $250, but I sell to Dragstuff members for $225.

I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. You can e-mail me at craig@2quicknovas.com or call me at 270-634-3345.

Thanks for your interest.
