NOS BOTTLE HEATER

#1 Post by soslojoe1970 » Wed Feb 03, 2010 5:53 am

Was looking at the Carnivore nitros surus-x. Is there anyone have there opinions and where would be the cheapest place to buy it.

I've had one for quite a while. They are neat units. Worth the money in my opinion.

I can get you a good price on one. What color?

I actually have the only black one they ever made. It was a test unit to see if the black body absorption would yield ineffective cooling rates. It tested out OK if you kept it out of the direct sun. I have it mounted in the trunk of my car. I also have a green one in the trailer. It was the first unit ever made.

The orange looks pretty good in a Chevy. Its a "Chevy orange" color.

I haven't talked to Dennis in a while. Not a good sign that the number is disconnected. Let me see what I can find out.

I emailed Dennis Clark - they are in business have just scaled back due to the economy. Dennis said he can be contacted at dennis@gotsqueeze.com or sales@gotsqueeze.com or DENNISCL99@HOTMAIL.COM. They need to update the phone number on their website but haven't got it fixed yet.

That's great news. I had e-mailed him a few months ago but hadn't heard back from him.

I heard back from Dennis at Carnivore today. Units are available. They hit some rough times due to the economy, like John mentioned, but are still alive and kicking.

I can get you a unit. I still need to get you a price, as he didn't tell me what he's selling them for currently. Used to be $350 as I recall.

What color were you interested in?

Thanks.

$349.95 is the retail price.

For Dragstuff members, ordering through me, I can do $325+shipping.

Red, yellow, orange and blue are the colors. There might be an army green one still available, but I'd have to check.

Just let me know and I'll get the ball rolling.

Thanks.
