progressive problem
well first off i went out today and could get the nitrous to work it worked fine the last time out. well it turned out to be the edelbrock progressive no matter what time i set it won't change all it will do is pulse for a 10th of a second then turn off i tried 2 seconds and 8 seconds and it still only runs for like a 10th of a second. so i guess it's going back for repairs i guess. anyone else have this problem?
the rest of the day at the track i posted in the general section

Re: progressive problem
I've heard that the Edelbrock controller can have interference problems. Is it mounted near your coil, ignition box or other high powered sources?

Re: progressive problem
craig it happens when the car isn't even running and the ignition isn't even on i sent it back to edelbrock today. now i think this is a problem they have had when i called and told him the problem he didn't even ask me anything or tell me to check ot try anything he just said send it in and they will take care of it. i was waiting for a million questions and things to look for and nothing so off it went.

Re: progressive problem
Sounds like they know exactly what the problem is.

Re: progressive problem
I think they just has a bad batch of units. I've heard so many stories of these things doing this. Mine would work in the pits no problem. Take it out to make a run it'd come on then go off and come back on. Steve told me it wasn't the controller doing it. I moved it all over and it'd still do it. Put a different one on it and went right down the track.

Re: progressive problem
I've seen others have problems with them as well. Pull it out and put in another one problem goes away.
Also have heard much issues with electrical interference on those controllers.

Re: progressive problem
I intentionally mounted my Cometic controller near my coil and 7531 box to see if it would freak out. Rock solid for the last year.
