my new WOT switch

i thought i would share the WOT switch setup i built i got tired of the little micro switch arm bending

Nice setup. That switch is very similar to the ones that are used to indicate the door pins are engaged on a Learjet.
Much better switch that the little micros.
Also neat bracket fab from an extruded angle. Anyone can come up with something complicated. Something simple
but effective is always more difficult.
Mind if I flatter you by copying it?

hey HPDRIFTER
thats what i posted it for to help others and give some ideas. it is very simple as you can see but it works perfect. i noticed my little micro switch was intermitting this new switch is solid i will see the next time out tho.


come on moe go with us to texas next year you can visit your old friends it will be a fun weekend plus you can meet some of the other dragstuff people. we will even let barney(purple dinosaur) caravan with us lol


woohooo looks like i will have a few races lol first i have to race moe with my itsy bitsy tire's lol it's ok moe i will give you a heads start lol. then a bracket race with harry. who's next lol i hope we are going to race on a 1/4 track will it be chris?

who else will be showing up or trying to be there for a dragstuff get together?

Should work alot better than the little switch. We mount them so the top of the gas pedal contacts the switches on the Outlaw 10.5 cars we build...usually a bracket welded to the dash bar.
