Bottle valves

#1 Post by ytnova » Mon Jan 10, 2011 9:19 am

Anybody have any idea on what the hp flow limit is on a old style 90 degree NOS high flow valve is? I always though about 250hp. If I remember correctly the new 45 degree high flow is good for about 400hp and the super high flow 500hp+, am I correct?
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.

I'm pretty sure they can move more than that... Seems like Dave Koehler did some tests on those valves, maybe he'll chime in.

So far, I can't tell any difference in any of the valves on my bottles. I've sprayed as much as a 110 jet in a big shot plate.
