He said it was one he just finished, not sure who's it is. Looks like one of those Mopar intakes some of the SBC nut cases are using.

Looks somewhat different than my 420 Mopar intake. Maybe an Edelbrock.

Monte would be a great addition to the board. He's not just good at nitrous either, he can help anywhere on a drag car.

I heard there were a lot of problems being experienced with soft lines on the outside jets. Speedtech advised only using them on internal systems.

You happen to hear what kind of problems? Biggest difference is the ID is smaller than 3/16 hard line, but other than that I don't see what would be a problem internal vs external. Maybe they don't like it on the bigger stages for that reason.
