Have you tried your plate out yet? You should be able to drop well into the 9's with a small shot I'd think.

Have you tried the "Edelbrock nitrous system with 250 hp jets " out yet? I assumed it was a plate.

Jetting is probably way off base. I bet it's very fat. There's your 9 second pass right there with some tuning.

78 Nitrous and 93 Fuel is what people used to use like 10 years ago that were crazy fat. What kind of nitrous setup do you have? More than likely you need something more like 78 N / 60 Fuel.raffaplymouth wrote:jHi john ! i tried in may with 200 and 250 hp jet .. no change ! best ET was 10.00 with roll cage install !!John_Heard wrote:Jetting is probably way off base. Listen to John and his recommendations for jet size with your nitrous plate.

Re: Nitrous 1970 Cuda
It's so fun seeing how much difference a correct tune up will make. It'll be an eye opener for sure lol..
What is your base timing on this car on motor only, and how much are you currently pulling for your nitrous? Do you have something that retards the timing when your nitrous activates?
Your edelbrock tuneup that came with your plate is junk, I'd bet we can make it go quicker on an even smaller jet than you're now using.
