No, you don't need another plate, just need to redo your jetting and maybe timing.
What jets do you have available?

John sorry for my to late response ... if i redo my jetting i think change the AFR ... that look like ok .. you have a jet fuel chart correct ??John_Heard wrote:No, you don't need another plate, just need to redo your jetting and maybe timing.

john .. now i have 74 of nitrous and 93 of fuel !!John_Heard wrote:Yes, if you change your jetting it should change your AFR.
No, I don't have a jet chart for your plate. Without flow testing it we have to guess at it, but our guess will certainly be an improvement over what the manufacturer supplied 8 years ago. I think the plate you have is probably similar to the Holley Big Shot plate, they do have a jet chart that should put you in the ball park. I don't know if edelbrock has updated their jetting charts or not, but Holley did a few years ago. Most likely you will need at the minimum a 10 jet stagger (bigger nitrous than fuel), and on most plates the bigger the jet the more stagger you'll need. For example, reversing the jets you have now 94 N/76 F would be a 18 jet stagger, probably not far off. But you may want to try a smaller shot first, like 80 nitrous or so? Depends on what jets you have available to work with.
