ussually if you go to the part manufactuers website( if they have one ) they ussually list the amp draw of the product so you can get a rough Idea . my car has a #8 wire leading to the arc control box from the starter/battery connection but I don't have nitrous . all the outs are 14 or 12 gauge stranded .
100% Pure Pontiac well all except for the rearend. its a Ferd .

My main feed wire coming up from the battery to the distribution block is a #4, I wouldn't go any smaller for a nitrous car. It actually wouldn't hurt to go a little bigger.. that's one place you don't want to skimp.

I have a 150 amp forklift breaker in the trunk on the main feed wire for distribution up front I have a Chevy pickup two post block - they put them on the firewall, then it splits out to screw type blocks.

Cole Hersey makes a lot of stuff and we use some of the relays and solenoids for various things. The solenoids are normally open and normally closed available. Run relays so can use smaller wiring to energize the circuit with and let the heavier gage wire do the work from
there. It allowed less cluter and made it easier to set up the wiring harness. Made our own and and put up the big dollar original so if the car ever gets back to restored all the stock stuff has not been butched up

I want to fuse componets, but it is looking like i may just use circuit breakers for them. I am running relays for all the loads, but was going to pick up power off a a fuse box but after the trip to the store it seams that there are no blade fuse boxes rated to handle the amp draw i need, so maybe i will just use breakers before the relays

May want to check with a truck dealer or parts place. I recall a blade fuse (a big one) called a maxifuse that ran power to the entire truck. On a Sterling it is on the driver side firewall after you tilt the nose up. It has a large holder, single, it plugged into, I want to say it was around a 100 amps. I've seen the Cole Hersey stuff with small fuse centers that use the stye of circuit breaker that looks like it takes an old style round tube fuse Probably need to try a truck or fleet type of parts place, or maybe NAPA. Advance and the like just don't seem to have that type of thing unless you need neon undercar for the bling!

try a freightliner,International , peterbilt dealer as they have all the stuff in stock , they also have some real high amp( 50-150) Circuitbreakers with screw terminals , I have gotten some hi amp relays/selenoids for making a snow plow rig there too. the snow plow stuff is super heavy duty as the pump is a starter motor design . Grote is one of the manufactuers,
