wired mine like it says trans brake to the red wire and shiftnoid to the blue wire put 3000 chip in to see if the shifter works in module 3 as it says for the blue wire but when you bring it up it just stutters like the chip is in the high side got a 4000 in module 1 for the brake and a 7500 in module 2 for the high side do I have this right or are the directions wrong
or do I not understand

From what I read off of MSD's website, the first module is to limit engine rpm for during your burnout. It is active when 12V is applied to the red wire. The second module is for your max rpm/ rev-limiter. It's active when there is no power to either the red or blue wire. The third module is for your starting line two step rev limit. From all of this I gather that you can't turn on an external output with the three-step. You can only limit engine rpm's. On my car for the shifnoid we used an rpm activated switch. I think it was part number 8590. Hope this helps a little.
