Best ignition setup for N/A and nitrous street/strip?

#1 Post by BILTIT » Thu Nov 22, 2007 12:12 pm

I am looking to run nitrous this spring (150-200hp). I have a basic accel 300+ box and coil. I was looking at buying the 375+ plug in module to run with the nitrous. I am wondering what you all use and what you think would be the best for timing retard, delay, window switch, limiter, etc. I would like a box that would do it all. BTW i am not a fan of MSD.

Mallory #685 is also called Hyfire VI. It has a window switch, 2 rpm limiters, selectable timing retard, built in start retard, and provisions for a boost porportional retard. It is very similar to a MSD Digital 6 box but much cheaper. Around $235.00, it's what I use and I love it. However, I'm not spraying mine yet. But it has everything I need except a timer for the N2O.
