Battery Box in Hatchback

#1 Post by hugger73hatch » Sun May 04, 2008 9:12 pm

Anyone know the rules about relocating battery to back of car in a hatchback? Does it have to be sectioned off from the drivers compartment. I would like to get that weight off the front if possible.

I think if it's in a sealed battery box, Properly mounted, vented outside the car and has a disconnect switch, that is all that is required.

How much benefit does everyone think is in relocating it to the back of the car. Does it help with ET or just traction off the line?

Good. :D

My numbers don't quite add up and I am trying to get the suspension worked out.
