How to hook my speedo up ?

My car had a powerglide originally and now i have a turbo 400 what can i do to make it work ? Thanks

They should both be cable driven at the tail shaft why cant you just hook up the cable?

If our concerned about the correct speed, you'll need to make sure the right gear is installed in the T-400 to match your rear end ratio.

Other then that, like SC said, the cable should just thread on.

Bowtie Overdrives has a pretty good tech article. I used it to figure out what gears I needed on my 700r4 (they cover pretty much allapplications) and got them through my local transmission rebuilder supply house...

Here use this site and click on the T400 in the index. Then use the calculator to decide on what gear to use.
