We had a problem with it eaking intially, but we just ended up tightening the fitting until it quit leaking. We had it easy since we reused the fitting from our old master cylinder. Have you tried looking through the scrapyards for a fitting off a Dodge truck?

Do you need an adapter to go from the 1/2" to 3/16" brake line? Ill see which ones we use and get you a part #.The Chrysler master I used had 3/16" in the master so no adapters needed.

Yes, it's 1/2-20 male with 3/16 inverted flare female. The thread portion needs to be approximately .500 long - the ones I have only about .400 thread and can't screw in deep enough to contact the seat in the Master.

I think I am fixing to have the same problem with my strange master cyl. My stock master cylinder had a 3/16 line in the front and a bigger line in the back(not sure the size..) And my new strange one has the 3/16 line fittings for front and rear.... Is this what you guys are talking about??

We're talking about the fittings that screw into the stock type master that adapt it down to 3/16 inverted flare. Doesn't sound like yours needs them. Are you going to run some new lines Adam?

I am using the stock line that goes from the rear port and back to the rear of the car and then I will "T" off there like we talked about. But what do I do about the stock line for the rear brakes being bigger then the 3/16 line? do they have reducers that go from my stock line to the 3/16 line? In the front I have to replumb because the calipers mount in the front of the wheel now...

Might be a good time to run new 3/16 line to the back then you wouldn't need any adapters. I'm not sure if they have one from 3/16 male to 1/4" female? You could probably make something up with a 1/8 pipe coupler.

Those are the fittings I got from Napa for the Strange master. They are made by Eaton and also go by the name Weatherhead. Ill see if I can get a part #

Did a bit of research this am on this, appears Edelmann, Weatherhead and Everco make them, only problem is nobody lists the thread depth in their catalogs. Trial and error time. Weatherhead appears to be a PN 7817
