I always ran 17-18psi, I'd start about 15 and go up til it spins.

The 315/35's are a really low profile so Im thinking I should start the pressure on the high side maybe around 18 or so.I actually want it to spin 1 or 2 revolutions just to be safe and not brake the rear its only a 7.5 10 bolt in a 3600+lb car.

I've been running a 8.5 10 bolt with 10.5 drag radials in a 3250lb car/driver. Not much better in stock form, but weld the tubes, gusset the perches, and put a girdle on it. It should live (Mine has lived for 10years with the last 4 on drag radials). I run my ET streets at 18psi and pull the front end 4" for a foot or two (no trans brake or line lock). Not the quickest car, but it runs low 12's.

Its got a girdle on it but I need to sell the car so Im going to make sure it spins a little. The motor makes about 500ft lbs of torque so Im a little worried but Ill see what happens in a few weeks.

Thats a good Idea. I hear that the stock carrier wont hold up to alot and you hit it pretty hard with your set up. Nor will the stock pinion supports.
I have a moser 9 inch with all the overkill goods... LOL! I probably couldnt break it in a 100 years with my little wimpy set up.

I have used drag radials in the rear with et drags in the front and I had no problems, they felt plenty stable at 150mph+ :D. I have read the same thing, but I have yet to see a fast drag radial car that doesn't have some sort of light weight bias ply in the front yet, maybe its just for street use and to cover their butt.
