tranny questions

#1 Post by 427belair » Tue Jul 01, 2008 6:32 pm

I pulled my motor/trans out of the car to fix an oil leak and noticed that the trans fluid was a brown color, but it didnt smell burnt. I switched to the B&M trans fluid before my last race and was woundering if that was nornal for that fluid? I pulled the pan off and there was a minimal amount of metal in the pan, way less than I expected for 2 years of racing. BTW its a hughes powerglide

Cheap fluid will do that, synthetic is a better choice.
