Hydraulic Clutch Opinions

#1 Post by CoMax Racing » Wed Sep 10, 2008 11:33 am

I need some opinions. I have a clutch in my car that uses a cross shaft bellhousing. The way the chassis is set up, the clutch pedal and cross shaft never really worked all that well. I want to improve the operation of the whole set-up. One of the methods I was going to use was a hyd master cylinder and pull type slave cylinder to actuate the lever of the cross shaft. Obviously I will have to get the proper bore&stroke sizes etc but, does this sound like a system that would work or should I scrap the idea and improve the mechanical linkage?

The reason I can't go to a hyd throwout brg is, I use a Lenco and they don't make a brg that will work.

Thanks
Corey
