Tire Section Width on New Wheel

#1 Post by nastynova » Thu Nov 06, 2008 5:34 pm

Okay I've been running a 15x9 Weld Draglite with 5.5" of backspace and with the new 29.5" x 10.5" non w tire on there I have exactly 7/8" of inch clearance on the inside wheel well and the outside fender. My question is I came a cross a set of 15x10 Weld Magnums with 6" of backspace which will basically keep it centered in the wheel well but I'm not sure how much this will change the section width from it's current measurement. I've been trying to figure this out and have had no luck. Any help is appreciated!

.2 for every 1/2" of rim width so .4 inches wider total.
