My car is not as fast as I think it is.
Re: pans and fluid
I'd use an aluminum pan. I use Mobil 1 synthetic trans fluid.

Re: pans and fluid
I've had very good luck with TCI synthetic tranny fluid. I can't find any good stuff locally, so I just order it from Summit whenever ordering other stuff. That way I've always got a supply on hand.

Re: pans and fluid
I've always run a stock pan. Never had any issues with it.

Re: pans and fluid
i think others will agree in a th400 to use type f fluid, dunno about the 350 can imagine same goes here...my tranny guy said for drag racing purposes the type f is better than dextron
Re: pans and fluid
I use the B&M cast alum extra deep pan it hols 2 extra qts I think I put it on because my stock pan was old and bent up so I upgraded. I just use Dextron III

Stef's fabricated pan here (came with the trans). I use AMSOIL compressor oil per trans maker recommendation - http://www.superiorperformance.net/raci ... fluid.html
