drag radial, shocks, caltrax
I went to the track saterday and in round one got my nitrous working and spun first and most of second. The car is 3700 mickey thompson drag radial 255 18psi I also have cal-trax. I have stock shocks and swaybar in front. I could not get a good burnout. The first thing I am doing is a line lock. I have the pinion at -4. The cal trax is in top hole with 1/4 turn. I have a 355 chevy th350 3000 stall nitrous 125 on at 3000, has about 530hp on nitrous. I was looking at lakewood shock for the price. It is mostly a street car. After the linelock what would you do?
My car is not as fast as I think it is.

Call up calvert and ask about the rancho shocks designed to work with the caltrac's. People have gone pretty fast with that set up.

You just need to measure your collapsed and extended length and the type of mounting. You have a tri 5 chevy right? I think you have a stud on top and eye mount on the bottom. Ill bet a 67 camaro shock might work.

How fast is your 55? Im just curious.
I have a 55 also but its just a street car, its a 427bb with a 700r4 and a 9" with 4.11's. It will run mis 12's on a 235 bfg. Fun cruiser.

It ran a 12.98 with a 1.7 60ft at 100 on motor. Then I got the nitrous working, bad switch. I spun first and most of second ran a 12.66 with 2.1 60 at 105. I dont know what it will do all new setup. 355, th350, 3.70, 255/60/15, 125nos. Has full interior and a baby seat. Do you know what yours weighs? I guess mine is 3800 with me in it.
