In need of a gear change.

3.7xxxx ~ 3.9xxxx gear.
Less if you have enough power to push a lower gear.

So you dont care what rpm you go across the line as long as you can 60ft quicker than a 1.30?

It's a 7400 rpm nitrous motor I think it will be ok out the back at any rpm.
With the 4.30 gear an the 1.80 in the trans, It's running out of 1st gear in about a 120 ft on nitrous way to soon for this tq motor if it gets traction.
On a DR tire I learning that you have to run the first half of the track as hard as you can with this type of set up and motor ou the bak

1/8 mile nitrous drag radial car is a lot different than what Im used to, I would always gear for the rpm I wanted to see going across the line at a predicted mph. With your set up I wasnt thinking it would rpm too high through the traps rather it would'nt come though high enough.......I guess thats what the BIG jets are for

All part of the secret sauce to getting a small tire to work with plenty of power. Gear, converter setup, chassis, power management all has to work together

Oh, he also said to change the shock. My motor makes too much power for the Rancho RS 9000's

So a gear change and shocks it is.
