Pick up some 60'?

#1 Post by BracketNova » Tue Feb 22, 2011 10:11 pm

Got off the phone today with a tech at Mickey Thompson. He claimed switching from a normal sidewall slick (I believe my current slicks are MT 3055) to a stiff sidewall would get me a little better 60'. Car weighs 3200 with me. Has anyone experienced this? :smt102

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't help a little. Most of the MAKO guys are running the 10.5 stiffys - should help the sidewalls last longer too.
